Hello Todd,
I don’t believe we’ve ever met before, but I was directed to you by my friend Jason Gauthier at Habitat for Humanity to get in contact. He mentioned that you would be good person to connect with, especially regarding some legislation around alternative housing (like tiny and modular housing).
About us – I’m a part of the Homeownership Center of Tacoma. The very short of what we do is provide mortgage assistance to individuals at or below 80% AMI on properties that we acquire and/or develop.
I am a part of the forming Legislative and Policy team here and have been connecting with stakeholders in the industry. I’m hoping it might be possible for us to connect, either in person or over phone. Let me know what can work.
Best Regards,
Adán
Hello Todd,
I just found your site and would very much like to be part of a community trying to find better ways of providing homes for people: the homeless especially. I live in Bellevue, WA and would like to volunteer in some capacity. I have a background in Case Management and Counseling and would like to help more in the areas of getting legislation for the homeless to live in “Sanctuary Dwellings”, and finding ways to provide land-space to build sanctuary dwellings for people needing housing. Would you please contact me?
Thank you.
