Our Tiny Home Tuesday is moved to Monday, 3/20 and in-person!
Q: Why the change from a virtual Zoom?
A: The in-person Meetup will take place in Port Townsend because of a historic City Council hearing that includes THOWs as ADUs – this would be a FIRST in WA State! We are learning from HSN (Housing Solutions Network of Jefferson County) that the City of Port Townsend is exploring expanding residential building capacity through zoning changes that could impact the future of affordable housing. There are 3 ways to participate in the upcoming City Council meeting:
- speak in-person: 3 minutes maximum
- online comment: unmute yourself (next to the arrow on the GotoMeeting platform)
- email comments by 4pm Monday, March 20th: subject line = Public Comment for City Council Public Hearing 3/20/23https://mailchi.mp/jcfgives/nows-the-time-for-affordable-housing?e=2b34207ebc
